Matelasse
Matelasse is a whole cloth quilt, usually a single color with intricate machine quilting. It was first done in Marseilles where it got it's name. We carry C&F's matelasse which are available in a large array of colors. Many people like to use the matelasse as a base and then spice up the bed with colorful shams, decorative throw pillows, and then either a throw or full size quilt folded and spread across the bottom of the bed.
