Mountain Quilts is located in the western mountains of North Carolina. Our area is known for it's music school, beautiful waterfalls, and white squirrels. What better picturesque setting for a purveyor of heirloom quilts!
Our owner, Jan Ernst, has owned her own business for over 30 years.

Mountain Quilts carries only the highest quality, handmade quilts. With the exception of a few, our quilts are made of 100% cotton. They are recommended to be machine washed in cool water on a gentle cycle or in a front loading machine. Line drying is also recommended. The quilts that are made with polyester are clearly noted and are also of the highest quality.

We have several hundred quilts in stock and promise to ship within 48 hours of your ordering. If your item is not in stock, we will let you know immediately how long it will take us to get the item. It is usually within a week. We are available to order by email or phone from 10am until 5pm eastern time everyday.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions before you order. We can help you make a decision on colors and size to match whatever your room has to offer. For example, while each quilt listed has the sizes available, we can also help you decide if you should choose a king quilt to go over that high queen mattress.

Our shipping & Handling is always FREE.
Sales tax is also free unless you are shipping to a North Carolina address. For shipping to areas in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas, please call or emaill us so we can make the special arrangements necessary to ship your quilt..
